PDAFomi_set_domainsize
This page documents the routine PDAFomi_set_domainsize
of PDAF. The routine was introduced by PDAF version 2.3.1.
The routine allocates and fills thisobs%domainsize
. It avoids to directly initialize elements of the data type thisobs
in the code, which can be problematic in some programming languages.
For details on thisobs%domainsize
see the documentation of OMI observation modules.
The interface is:
SUBROUTINE PDAFomi_set_domainsize(thisobs, ncoord, domainsize) TYPE(obs_f), INTENT(inout) :: thisobs ! Observation type INTEGER, INTENT(in) :: ncoord ! number of dimensions used for distance calculation REAL, INTENT(in) :: domainsize(ncoord) ! Array of domain sizes
Note:
- When using Fortran, one can also initialize
thisobs%domainsize
directly - `thisobs%domainsize' is only relevant if using Cartesian distance calculation with periodicity
