Data Protection

This is to let you know how we handle your data. As many of the PDAF users do not speak German, we provide this description in English.

User Data

The personal data we store is that which you enter when you register for downloading PDAF. Here, you name and email address is used to send your individual download link or to contact you in case of updates to PDAF. The Institution and Country are used for statistical purposes. When you download a PDAF-packe we store the information which package was downloaded by you and the date and time. This information is also only used for statistical purpose. We don't forward your data to any third person, unless we are required so by law.

Further, access data to this web site are stored. This data set consists of the site from which you access the file, the name of the file, the date and time of the access, the IP-address of the computer, the description of the web browser you used, and the access status (whether the file was transmitted or not found). For the registration for we also get the information that you submitted the form.

Cookies

Cookies are small files, which are stored on the hard disk of the website visitor. The only point at which a cookie is used is for the security code when you register (so-called 'captcha'). The used cookie is a session-cookie which should be automatically deleted, when you close your browser. User Rights

It is you right as a user to request the information, which data we store about you and to which purpose. You can request the correction of incorrect data or the deletion of those data which are ineligible or no longer required. Please contact us in case of information requests, wishes or suggestions about the data protection.
