v8 v9 1 1 = Implementation Tutorials = 2 2 3 == Implementing the online analysis step==3 == Implementing the online mode of PDAF == 4 4 5 Since version 1.10 of PDAF, tutorial implementations of the online analysis step are included in the PDAF source code package. The tutorial implementation uses a simple 2-dimensional model domain with a single model field. The implementation is done from the templates provided in /templates/online of the source code package. Two implementations are demonstrated: The case that the model itself is not parallelized and the case that the model is parallelized (i.e. if field is decomposed over several processes).5 In the online mode of PDAF one couples PDAF to a model into a single assimilation program.
