PDAFomi_set_id_obs_p
This page documents the routine PDAFomi_set_id_obs_p of PDAF. The routine was introduced by PDAF version 2.3.1.
The routine allocates and fills thisobs%id_obs_p. It avoids to directly initialize elements of the data type thisobs in the code, which can be problematic in some programming languages.
For details on thisobs%id_obs_p see the documentation of OMI observation modules.
The interface is:
SUBROUTINE PDAFomi_set_doassim(thisobs, nrows, dim_obs_p, id_obs_p)
TYPE(obs_f), INTENT(inout) :: thisobs ! Observation type
INTEGER, INTENT(in) :: nrows ! Number of rows required in observation operator
INTEGER, INTENT(in) :: dim_obs_p ! Number of process-local observations
INTEGER, INTENT(in) :: id_obs_p(dim_obs_p, nrows) ! Observation index array
Note:
- When using Fortran, one can also initialize
thisobs%id_obs_pdirectly
